Free Game Fridays: Black Mesa Source 1.0 finally released


Just in time for Free Game Fridays, Black Mesa Source finally hit the internet. Black Mesa Source is a long awaited mod for the Source engine. It’s a complete remake of the original Half-Life, up until the Xen part (which is due later).

20 retro multiplayer games perfect for XBLA/PSN/Wii/Steam


With the recently released Double Dragon: Neon hitting the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, it’s about time to go over some much needed love in the retro field of gaming. There’s a few dozen and more of untouched multiplayer games that are absolutely perfect for re-release. I’ve compiled a list of games that I loved playing growing up, and then some. Cosplay: The Good, The Bad, and The Funny (Part 2)


Cosplay, for those unfamiliar in this, is the ultimate fan-nerd thing you can do. And please be aware, nerd shouldn’t be synonymous to bad. Nerd stuff is awesome, which is why I have this website in the first place. But sometimes, it just goes too far, and I love it. How this is going to work is the “Good” stuff will be the cosplay costumes that actually look pretty accurate. The “Bad” will be the ones that just look like garbage sometimes the cosplay that just is so bad, it’s funny. If you have any suggestions to other great ones, post them in the comments. I’d love to laugh, or be impressed.
